Abstract
Esta invencion se relaciona con un procedimiento para la produccion de un elastomero de poliuretano-urea opticamente transparente y estable a la luz que tiene un punto de ablandamiento inicial de al menos 130¦C, procesado a temperatura ambiente y vaciado en un molde a un indice de isocianato de 95 a 120. Este procedimiento consiste en la reaccion de: A) un poliisocianato o prepolimero de poliisocianato liquido que tiene un contenido en grupos NCO de aproximadamente un 5 a aproximadamente un 50%, una funcionalidad media de 2 a 3 y una viscosidad de menos de 5.000 mPa¦s a 25¦C y que consiste en (1) un poliisocianato (ciclo)alifatico que tiene un contenido en grupos NCO de aproximadamente un 32% a aproximadamente un 50% en peso y una funcionalidad de aproximadamente 2 y, eventualmente, (2) uno o mas compuestos organicos que tienen al menos dos grupos hidroxilo y un peso molecular de aproximadamente 62 a aproximadamente 8.000; y B) un componente reactivo a isocianato consistente en 1) al menos un compuesto organico que contiene al menos dos grupos amina aromaticos y que tiene un peso molecular de 100 a 1.000 y 2) al menos un compuesto organico que tiene al menos dos grupos hidroxilo y un peso molecular de aproximadamente 62 a 6.000; en presencia de C) al menos un catalizador organometalico. La presente invencion se relaciona tambien con los elastomeros de poliuretano-urea opticamente transparentes y estables a la luz producidos mediante este procedimiento.
