Abstract

Se describe un sistema tactil que usa una pluralidad e transmisores y receptores infrarrojos ("IR"), y un metodo para determinar con resolucion aumentada la ubicacion de un toque entre los transmisores y receptores IR usando deteccion en el eje y fuera del eje. El sistema y metodo de toque de la invencion usan, junto con la deteccion en el eje y fuera del eje, un barrido grueso y fino de los transmisores y receptores para aumentar la resolucion de ubicacion de toque identificado. El metodo para determinar una ubicacion de toque incluye la seleccion y activacion de pares particulares de transmisor y receptor infrarrojo fuera del eje determinados a partir de una interdependencia de triangulacion entre las coordenadas x e y. La resolucion aumentada de la ubicacion de toque identificada se logra usando el sistema y metodo de la invencion sin la necesidad de un numero aumentado de transmisores y receptores infrarrojos y sin la necesidad de capacidad de procesamiento de velocidad mayor.
