Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un metodo para descodificar imagenes de video comprimidas en un dispositivo de descodificacion de video que comprende una fuente de acceso aleatorio de imagenes de video codificadas, un descodificador de video y una pluralidad de memorias intermedias de reconstruccion para almacenar imagenes descodificadas. El metodo comprende los pasos de establecer un orden de descodificacion de imagenes y de ordenar al descodificador de video que descodifique una imagen en la disponibilidad de una memoria intermedia de reconstruccion. La invencion tambien se refiere a un dispositivo para implementar el metodo inventivo. Aplicable a dispositivos de descodificacion de video digital.
