Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un proceso para el laminado en caliente de tiras de acero puro o de baja aleacion, en particular acero de carbono extra bajo, carbono ultra bajo y acero libre intersticial, en un grupo de acabado de posicion multiple, que inicia a una temperatura en el rango de la ausencia de acero y que finaliza a una temperatura en el rango de la ferrita de acero. La transformacion estructural del acero se completa por enfriamiento de la tira entre las posiciones del grupo de acabado. La invencion se caracteriza porque la tira se lamina en la fase austenítica hasta un espesor intermediario que fluctua desde 2 hasta 12 mm, se enfría para la transformacion de ferrita en una unica etapa de enfriamiento, y de manera posterior se lamina hasta un tamaño en la fase ferrítica.
