Abstract
Para restablecer interrupciones parciales dentro de una red de comunicaciones (200), que comprende nodos de conmutacion (201) interconectados por enlaces (202, 203), se activa un protocolo de restablecimiento (420-434) distribuido en tres etapas, para utilizar los enlaces de reserva y restablecer la conectividad normal de la red. El protocolo detecta y resuelve la disputa por los recursos de reserva entre los procesos de restablecimiento separados en caso de que simultáneamente se presenten varias fallas. Un planteamiento conservador de inundacion se utiliza durante una etapa inicial de señalizacion en avance (424, 426).
