Abstract
Un sistema de control de direccion para un vehículo con bandas de rodamiento que incluye una bomba de direccion de desplazamiento variable impulsada por motor la cual impulsa un motor hidráulico. El motor impulsa un mecanismo de impulsion diferencial el cual impulsa las ruedas de impulsion con bandas de rodamiento izquierda y derecha. Una unidad de control electronico, como una funcion de la posicion de rueda de direccion, de la velocidad del vehículo, de la velocidad del motor, de la direccion de vehículo para adelante/en reversa y otros parámetros, generando una señal de comando que controla la placa de oscilacion de la bomba de direccion. El sistema opera de manera que, para una posicion dada de la rueda de direccion, una curvatura de vuelta del vehículo disminuye el aumentar la velocidad del vehículo, en done la curvatura de vuelta es inversamente proporcional a un radio de vuelta. Esto se logra mediante el calcular un valor de velocidad de vuelta igual a la velocidad del vehículo multiplicada por una proporcion de una velocidad de motor nominal dividida por la velocidad de motor percibida, y mediante el calcular la señal de comando igual a un valor de ganancia de direccion multiplicado por una proporcion del valor de velocidad de vuelta y dividido por un valor de velocidad de vehículo nominal.
