Abstract
Un cigüeñal está montado en un accesorio (30) el cual gira el cigüeñal alrededor de su eje longitudinal y el cual inclina el cigüeñal alrededor de un eje horizontal para permitir el maquinado de barrenos tales como barrenos de aceite en varias posiciones rotacionales y en varias ángulos de inclinacion al eje longitudinal. De preferencia, una herramienta de corte (36) se mueve a lo largo de un eje Z de empuje horizontal para maquinar barrenos sobre o desplazándose del eje longitudinal. De preferencia, están montados un par de cigüeñales lado a lado en el accesorio para maquinar dos cigüeñales simultáneamente. El accesorio está montado para inclinacion por los muñones (124). El par de cigüeñales son girados alrededor del eje longitudinal por un motor sobre el accesorio inclinable. Un cambiador de herramientas automático y el aparato de cargado (34) almacena las herramientas de corte y los bujes de guía asociados para las herramientas de corte.
