Abstract
Se proporciona un método y formulaciones novedosas para imprimir imágenes sobre una superficie de hule de látex. Se utiliza una tinta que contiene hule natural o sintético, una dispersion de pigmento y un medio solvente aromáticamente insaturado para el hule. La estabilidad de la imagen se mejora proporcionando a las moléculas del hule de la tinta un agente como un aril-diisocianato que formará una matriz tenaz, flexible y químicamente resistente entre las moléculas de hule de la tinta, el revestimiento base, si está presente, y la superficie del látex. Puede utilizarse un revestimiento base sobre la superficie del látex para fijar a la misma la tinta impresora. El revestimiento base puede comprender un hule natural en un solvente aromáticamente insaturado, y también puede contener el aril-diisocianato. Puede mejorarse el método por ciertos pasos efectuados después de la impresion, como por ejemplo calentamiento o curacion del producto impreso.
