Abstract
La presente invencion describe un método mejorado para aplicar revestimientos duros sin azucar a centros que consisten de componentes comestibles, masticables o farmacéuticos. La presente invencion describe un procedimiento para recubrir centros en los que el jarabe de sorbitol se aplica a una masa de centros en rotacion y después se agrega por lo menos otro de los polioles seleccionados en forma cristalina. Los centros recubiertos se secan y el procedimiento se repite hasta que se obtiene un revestimiento del grosor y composicion deseados. Lo crujiente de los revestimientos de acuerdo con el procedimiento de esta invencion es comparable por lo menos con el que se obtiene con la sacarosa.
