Abstract

Un método para producir un combustible en emulsion de aceite superpesado, el cual comprende los pasos de: (i) preparar una mezcla líquida que comprende un aceite superpesado, agua, uno o más tensoactivos no ionicos que tienen un EHL-(equilibrio hidrofílico-lipofílico) de 13 a 19, y opcionalmente uno o más estabilizantes, y luego agitar la mezcla líquida resultante con un alto de índice de esfuerzo cortante de 1,000/segundo a 60,000/segundo, para dar un combustible en emulsion de tipo de aceite en agua (Ac/Ag) que tiene una concentracion de aceite superpesado del 74 al 82 por ciento en peso, y (ii) agregar cuando menos uno de los dispersantes ionicos, y opcionalmente agua, al combustible en emulsion obtenido en el peso (i), y luego mezclar y agitar la mezcla líquida resultante con un índice de esfuerzo cortante de 10/segundo a 10,000/segundo, para dar un combustible en emulsion de tipo de aceite en agua, (Ac/Ag) que tiene una concentracion de aceite superpesado del 68 al 79 por ciento en peso. En el peso (i), los tensoactivos no ionicos están contenidos en una cantidad del 0.1 a 0.8 por ciento en peso del combustible en emulsion obtenido en el peso (i), y los estabilizantes están contenidos en una cantidad del 0.001 al 0.5 por ciento en peso del combustible en emulsion obtenido en el paso (i). En el paso (ii), los dispersantes ionicos están contenidos en una cantidad del 0.01 al 0.5 por ciento en peso del combustible en emulsion obtenido en el peso (ii).
