Abstract
La invencion proporciona compuestos nuevos de la formula (I). CF3-CXCl-CH(OH)CH2-C(CH3)2-CH2-CO2R, en la que X representa cloro o bromo y R representa hidrogeno o alquilo de hasta 4 átomos de carbono, procesos para prepararlos y su uso como intermediarios en la preparacion de derivados de ciclopropano insecticidas. También se proporcionan compuestos nuevos de la formula (IV). BrCH2-CH2-C(CH3)2-CH2-CO2R, en la que R representa alquilo de hasta 4 átomos de carbono, utiles como intermediarios en la preparacion de los compuestos de la formula (I).
