Abstract

Un extracto sapinificado de cempasuchil (Tagetes Erecta L.) con un contenido de zeaxantina comprendido entre el 20% y el 80% del total de las xantofilas, así como una formulacion y un método para su dosificacion, que comprende suministrar aproximadamente entre 10 a 55 partes por millon, de las xantofilas saponificadas de cempasuchil, las cuales contienen un nivel zeaxantina comprendido entre el 20% y el 80%, en la alimentacion o en la bebida de aves, para la pigmentacion de la piel del pollo y de la yema del huevo, a fin de impartirles las tonalidades en la coloracion como las demanda el mercado.
