Acero para la fabricacion de una pieza de mecánica cortable cuya composicion química contiene, en peso: 0, 25%_<C_<0,75%, 0,2%_<Si_<1,5%, 0,1%_<Mn_<2%, 0%_<Ni_<1%, 0%_<Cr_<1%, 0%_<Mo_<1%, 0%_<Cu_<1%, 0%_<V_<0,2%, 0.02%_<S_<0,35%, 0,04%_<P_<0,2%, 0%_<Al_<0,005%, 0,005%_<N_<0,02%; eventualmente, al menos un elemento tomado entre plomo, telurio y selenio, en contenidos inferiores a 0,1%, siendo el resto hierro e impurezas resultantes de la elaboracion, estando el acero eventualmente tratado con calcio. Utilizacion del acero para la fabricacion de una pieza cortable y pieza obtenida.
