Abstract

Un sistema y proceso para producir un producto altamente puro, a partir de una corriente de alimentacion que contiene oxígeno elemental, aplicando la corriente de alimentacion a, por lo menos, un separador que incluye una zona de alimentacion y una zona de infiltracion separadas mediante una membrana de electrolito solida, e impulsando una porcion de oxígeno contenido en la corriente de alimentacion, desde la zona de alimentacion a la zona de infiltracion por medio de la membrana, aplicando a la zona infiltracion una corriente de evacuacion de reactivos que contiene un gas reactivo combinándose con oxígeno, para establecer una presion parcial inferior de oxígeno en esa zona. El retenedor agotado en oxígeno es extraído como una corriente de productos altamente puros.
