Abstract

Un método para la fabricacion de un catalizador para la produccion de fibrillas de carbon que comprende poner en contacto un catalizador formador de fibrillas o los precursores de un catalizador formador de fibrillas con una cantidad efectiva de un agente tensioactivo y/o poliol. Un catalizador para la produccion de fibrillas de carbon formadas poniendo en contacto el catalizador formador de fibrillas o precursores de un catalizador formador de fibrillas con una cantidad efectiva de un agente tensioactivo y/o poliol. Las fibrillas de carbon o agregados de fibrillas de carbon mejorados exentos de una sobre capa térmica de carbon continua, con capas grafíticas esencialmente paralelas al eje de la fibrilla, teniendo un diámetro esencialmente constante de aproximadamente 1.0 a aproximadamente 100 nanometros, y que poseen dispersion mejorada hacia otros materiales u conductividad eléctrica mejorada en aquellos materiales.
