Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un aparato que transfiere una imagen revelada desde una superficie fotoconductora a una hoja de copia. El aparato incluye un dispositivo generador de corona, dispuesto para cargar la hoja de copia, para establecer un campo de transferencia que es efectivo para atraer la imagen revelada desde la superficie fotoconductora a la hoja de copia y una lámina que se mueve desde una posicion no operativa espaciada de la hoja de copia, a una posicion operativa, en contacto con la hoja de copia, para presionar la hoja de copia al menos en contacto con la imagen revelada en la superficie fotoconductora, para eliminar substancialmente cualesquiera espacios entre la hoja de copia y la imagen revelada, durante la transferencia de la imagen revelada desde la superficie fotoconductora a la hoja de copia. La lamina se acciona por medio de un mecanismo solenoide excitado por voltaje dual diseñado para minimizar el tiempo de insercion del solenoide, para cumplir con las especificaciones de transporte de alta velocidad.
