Abstract

Se describe un método para aplicar soldadura a estructuras de metal, (1, 2), en particular cuerpos alveolares (8) para catalizadores de los gases del escape. La soldadura se aplica en forma de un polvo y se retiene firmemente a las estructuras de metal adhesivo (1, 2) por medio de un material adhesivo (53, 54, 55, 56, 57) que actua como un adhesivo, aglutinante o promotor de la adhesion. El material adhesivo utilizado para retener firmemente el polvo de soldadura tiene dos estados con respecto a su accion adhesiva durante el proceso de produccion de la estructura de metal ( 1, 2). Un primer estado es menos adhesivo y un segundo estado es más fuertemente adhesivo; la fuerza del adhesivo; la fuerza del adhesivo se puede seleccionar o ajustar como una funcion de las condiciones externas, especialmente la temperatura. Como resultado, el estado del material dado a un estado adecuado para cada etapa de produccion, como resultado del cual la calidad de la soldadura se incrementa y el proceso de produccion se simplifica.
