Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un aparato para controlar la concentracion de pigmento orgánico con un material revelador de portador y pigmento orgánico. El aparato tiene un rodillo magnético para transportar una combinacion de partículas de pigmento orgánico y material portador, un rodillo donador para transportar partículas de pigmento orgánico desde el rodillo magnético a una zona de transferencia de fotorreceptor, el rodillo magnético y el rodillo donador cada uno tiene un voltaje aplicado. Un detector mide la corriente dinámica entre el rodillo magnético y el rodillo donador y genera una señal como una funcion. La corriente dinámica entre el rodillo magnético y el rodillo donador es una funcion de la concentracion de las partículas de pigmento orgánico y el material portador. Como resultado de la señal de salida del detector, se agregan partículas de pigmento orgánico al colector de revelador para mantener propiedades tribo-eléctricas adecuadas dentro de la unidad reveladora.
