Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con una composicion de vidrio sílico-sodo-cálcico apto para realizar encristalados. Los vidrios segun la invencion, comprenden los constituyentes a continuacion segun porcentajes de contenido expresados en porcentajes ponderales, que se definen por los límites siguientes:SiO2, de 69% a 75%; Al2O3, de 0% a 3%; B2O3, de 0% a 5%; CaO, de 2% a 0%; MgO, de 0% a 2%; Na2O, de 9% a 17%; K2O, de 0% a 8%; Fe2O3 (fierro total), de 0.2% a 4%; Se, CoO, Cr2O3, NiO, CuO de 0% a 0.45%; el porcentaje de contenido de agentes colorantes que no sean fierro, es cuando menos igual a 0.0002% cuando el porcentaje de contenido en Fe2O3 es igual o inferior a 1.5% y esta composicion puede contener también fluor, oxidos de zinc, de zirconio, de cerio, de titanio y menos de 4% de oxido de bario; por lo tanto la suma de los porcentajes de los oxidos alcalinotérreos permanece igual o inferior a 10%.
