Abstract

En un ambiente de servicio de comunicacion personal (PCS), en donde una llamada a un numero de teléfono personal puede dirigirse a una secuencia de numero de teléfono hasta que la llamada se responde o abandona y en donde es posible que los teléfonos de destino indicados en la secuencia pueden ser teléfonos desconectados de manera tal que no sean accesibles desde cualquier red, un método para evitar intentos de desperdicio para dirigir la llamada para a) determinar si cualesquiera numeros de teléfono de la secuencia corresponden a teléfonos desconectados y de ser así b) saltar estos numeros de teléfono, es decir, a aquellos de los teléfonos desconectados, de manera tal que no se hace un intento para completar una llamada PCS a un teléfono desconectado (figura 2).
