Abstract

Hilos de alma contienen un alma de poliéster de alta tenacidad, procedimiento de obtención y utilización de materiales de poliéster seleccionados para la fabricación de hilos de alma. Se describen hilos de alma que contienen filamentos selecionados de poliéster. Los hilos de alma se caracterizan porque a) el hilo de alma se compone de filamentos de poliéster apto para producirlos, que presentan un peso solución (determinada en soluciones de 1 g de poliéster en 100ml de ácido dicloroacético a 25ºC) de 1,9; b) el filamento del alma presenta una resistencia específica de 60 cN/tex por lo menos, y c) la longitud de costura hacia rotura del hilo de alma en ensayo realizado en condiciones severas es de más de 800cm, habida cuenta que dicho ensayo se realiza en cuatro capas de algodón con un peso por unidad de superficie de 350g/m2, 5000 puntadas/min, una tensión de cosido de 200cN y realizándose el cosido hacia adelante.
