Abstract

Un monobloc de combustión interna con un conducto circunferencial construído entre el bloque del cilindro y la camisa interior del cilindro, rodeando y adyacente a la región de la cámara de combustión de alta temperatura del motor, a la cual el caudal de flujo del líquido enfriador se desvió de la corriente principal de enfriamiento para enfriar en forma efectiva y uniforme esta área crítica de la camisa interior. El caudal de alta velocidad de la corriente principal de enfriamiento, al pasar por el extremo de la camisa interior del cilindro, contigua a la cámara de combustión, proporciona una presión reducida en la conexión que interconecta la conexión de salida del conducto circunferencial con el caudal principal enfriador. Los orificios de entrada al conducto, localizados corriente arriba en lugares de relativo estancamiento en el caudal de flujo del líquido enfriador, tienen una mayor presión que el conducto de salida, induciendo el flujo a través del conducto a mayor velocidad.
