Abstract

Ha sido aislado un promotor de Brassica (hsp80), el cual puede proporcionar expresión constitutiva de los genes heterólogos en un amplio rango de tejidos y órganos. Diversos mutantes por deleción y promotores híbridos están descritos, los cuales conservan actividad y/o muestran actividad mejorada. Se describen las secuencias con activación hacia arriba, las cuales separadamente y en combinación pueden proporcionar expresión genética constitutiva. Estas secuencias pueden también conferir expresión constitutiva sobre promotores heterólogos, no constitutivos.
