Abstract
Un aparato (20) y método (10) para reproducir una estructura de árbol en una GUI dependiente de un cursor apuntador con relación al árbol reproducido que utiliza la posición del cursor con respecto al árbol para controlar cuáles ramas del árbol se expanden/contraen automáticamente. Reconfiguran la vista de árbol para la presentación compacta sin necesidad de operaciones explícitas de expansión/contracción. Se genera (11) una vista de árbol. Se determina (14) una posición de cursor con relación a la vista, que consiste en primer y segundo valores de posición de acuerdo con la primera y segunda direcciones. La rama con la que se alinea la posición de cursor de acuerdo con la primera dirección se selecciona automáticamente como rama activa (15). Se determinan (16) los subniveles de esa rama a expandirse, dependiente del segundo valor de posición con respecto a las indentaciones de los subniveles, y la vista de árbol se actualiza automáticamente al expandir los subniveles determinados de la rama activa y contraer otras ramas (17).
