Abstract

Una emulsión incluye al menos un surfactante polimérico, agua y al menos un compuesto organofosforado. La emulsión puede incluir desde aproximadamente 1% hasta aproximadamente 40% del surfactante polimérico y desde aproximadamente 40% hasta aproximadamente 80% del compuesto organofosforado. La emulsión puede incluir además al menos una sal o surfactante adicional. El al menos un surfactante polimérico puede incluir surfactantes a base de silicona, surfactantes a base de polioxipropileno, copolímeros de injerto de polisacáridos y combinaciones de los mismos. El al menos un surfactante polimérico puede representar aproximadamente del 25% hasta aproximadamente 100% por peso del contenido de surfactante en la emulsión y el al menos un surfactante secundario, si se encuentra presente, puede representar hasta aproximadamente 75% por peso del contenido de surfactante en la emulsión. La emulsión puede tener un tamaño de gota promedio de fase dispersa de menos de aproximadamente 5 micras, o menos de aproximadamente 1 micra, después de 6 meses.
