Abstract
El presente invento se refiere a un depresor en la flotación de la mena de hierro que consta de bagazo de caña de azúcar y sosa cáustica como para ayudar en la flotación de la mena de hierro. Se refiere, además, el uso del bagazo de la caña de azúcar en carácter de depresor en la flotación de la mena de hierro y a un proceso para la preparación del depresor que consta de bagazo de caña de azúcar. Este depresor exhibe un desempeño adecuado para la función a la que sirve.
