Abstract

La invención reivindicada se refiere a un método para reducir el consumo de energía en un proceso de destilación mediante el uso de acoplamiento térmico. Modalidades de la invención reivindicada están dirigidas a la inclusión de un evaporador lateral y un condensador parcial en la sección de pre-fraccionamiento de una primera columna, lo cual a su vez ayuda a distribuir de manera uniforme el tráfico de vapor-líquido entre una primera columna y una segunda columna.
