Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a conjugados de proteína que comprenden un polipéptido derivado de aprotinina, el cual facilita el transporte del conjugado a través de la barrera hematoencefálica, y una porción de anticuerpo que selectivamente une un objetivo dentro del sistema nervioso central. Los conjugados de proteína además se definen por la inclusión de un enlazador; por el número de polipéptidos conjugados a cada porción de anticuerpo; por las posiciones en las cuales la porción de anticuerpo y los polipéptidos se conjugan; y por la configuración más grande del conjugado (en donde cada polipéptido está enlazado solo a la porción de anticuerpo). También se describen polipéptidos derivados de aprotinina modificados, porciones de anticuerpo unidos a enlazador, composiciones farmacéuticas, equipos, y métodos para hacer y utilizar los conjugados de proteína.
