Abstract

Un componente estructural mecánico es un componente dentado obtenido mediante la realización de forja en frío y tratamiento de carburización en un acero que tiene una composición química que incluye, en % en masa: 0.10% a 0.35% de 0; 0.01% a 0.13% de Si; 0.30% a 0.80% de Mn; 0.03% o menos de P; 0.03% o menos de S; 0.01% a 0.045% de Al; 0.5% a 3.0% de Cr; 0.0005% a 0.0040 de B; 0.003% a 0.080% de Nb; y 0.0080% o menos de N, en donde Ti mezclado en la composición química como una impureza está limitado a 0.005% o menos, y la composición química tiene un resto que incluye Fe e impurezas incidentales, en granos de austenita previa después del tratamiento de carburización, una relación de área de los granos de cristal de 50 µm o menos es de 80% o más, y una relación de área de los granos de cristal que son superiores a 300 µm es de 10% o menos, y una desviación de hélice total de los dientes después del tratamiento de carburización satisface la Fórmula (1) (Bmax/L) x 103 = 5 ··· (1) donde Bmax es una máxima desviación de hélice total en todos los dientes en mm, y L es una anchura de cara en mm.
