Se proporciona un material de acero de alta resistencia para pozo de petróleo que tiene una composición química que consiste, en porcentaje en masa, de C: 0.60 a 1.4%, Si: 0.05 a 1.00%, Mn: 12 a 25%, Al: 0.003 a 0.06% P: =0.03%, S: =0.03%, N: <0.1%, Cr: =0% y <5,0%, Mo: =0% y <3.0%, Cu: =0% y <1.0%, Ni : =0% y <1.0%, V: 0 a 0.5%, Nb: 0 a 0.5%, Ta: 0 a 0.5%, Ti: 0 a 0.5%, Zr: 0 a 0.5%, Ca: =0% y <0.005%, Mg:=0% y <0.005%, B: 0 a 0.015%, el balance es de: Fe e impurezas, donde Nieq [= Ni + 30C + 0.5Mn] es de 27.5 o superior, una micro-estructura metálica es una estructura que consiste principalmente en una estructura FCC, una fracción del volumen total de ferrita y a' martensita es inferior a 0.10%, y un límite elástico es de 862 MPa o superior.
