Aquí se proporciona un material de acero de alta resistencia para pozo de petróleo que tiene una composición química que consiste, en porcentaje de masa, de C: 0,60 - 1,4%, Si: 0,05 - 1,00%, Mn: 12 - 25%, Al: 0,003 - 0,06%, P: £ 0,03%, S: £ 0,03%, N: < 0,1%, Cr: ³ 0% y < 5,0%, Mo: ³ 0% y < 3,0%, Cu: ³ 0% y < 1,0%, Ni: ³ 0% y < 1,0%, V: 0 - 0,5%, Nb: 0 - 0,5%, Ta: 0 - 0,5%, Ti: 0 - 0,5%, Zr: 0 - 0,5%, Ca: ³ 0% y < 0,005%, Mg: ³ 0% y < 0,005%, B: 0 - 0,015%, balanceado con Fe e impurezas, en donde Nieq [= Ni + 30C + 0,5Mn] es 27,5 o mayor, una micro-estructura metálica es una estructura que consiste principalmente de una estructura FCC, la fracción de volumen total de ferrita y martensita a es menos que 0,10%, y el límite elástico es de 862 MPa o mayor.
