Abstract
Un dispositivo de control de motor de combustión interna controla un motor de combustión interna de encendido por chispa del tipo de inyección directa de combustible en cilindro provisto con una válvula de inyección de combustible configurada para inyectar directamente combustible en un cilindro y una bujía de encendido configurada para realizar el encendido por chispa para una mezcla de gas dentro del cilindro. El dispositivo de control de motor de combustión interna ejecuta una operación de calentamiento de catalizador para retardar un momento de encendido, durante una carrera de compresión del momento de inyección de combustible, en un caso donde es necesario calentar un catalizador de purificación del gas de escape insertado en un pasaje de escape.
