Abstract
Se divulgan un aparato y método multiplexor que utiliza multiplexión por división en capas; un aparato multiplexor de conformidad con una modalidad de la presente invención incluye un combinador configurado para generar una señal multilpexada combinando una señal de capa de núcleo y una señal de capa mejorada en distintos niveles de potencia; un normalizador de potencia configurado para reducir la potencia de la señal multiplexada a un nivel de potencia que corresponde a la señal de la capa de núcleo; un intercalador de tiempo configurado para generar una señal intercalada por tiempo llevando a cabo un intercalado que se aplica tanto a la señal de capa de núcleo como a la señal de capa mejorada; y un constructor de trama configurado para generar una señal de difusión utilizando la señal intercalada por tiempo la información de señalización L1.
