Abstract

Se divulgan un aparato y método para generar una trama de señal de difusión que corresponde con un intercalador de tiempo que sostiene una pluralidad de modos de operación; un aparato para generar una trama de señal de difusión de conformidad con una modalidad de la presente invención incluye un combinador configurado para generar una señal multiplexada combinando una señal de capa de núcleo y una señal de capa mejorada en diferentes niveles de energía; un normalizador de energía configurado para reducir la energía de la señal multiplexada a un nivel de energía que corresponde con la señal de capa de núcleo; un intercalador de tiempo configurado para generar una señal intercalada de tiempo realizando intercalado que se aplica a tanto la señal de capa de núcleo como a la señal de capa mejorada; y un constructor de trama configurado para generar una trama de señal de difusión que incluye un preámbulo para señalizar la información de intercalador de tiempo que corresponde con el intercalador de tiempo, el intercalador de tiempo usa uno de grupos de intercaladores de tiempo, y el intercalador de tiempo realiza el intercalado usando uno de una pluralidad de modos de operación.
