Abstract
Un dispositivo de soldadura automatizado comprende una cámara, circuito de procesamiento, un soplete de soldadura y un subsistema electromecánico. La cámara es operable para capturar, usando longitudes de onda visibles y/o infrarrojas, una imagen de alto rango dinámico de una o más piezas de trabajo. El circuito de procesamiento es operable para procesar la imagen para determinar las características físicas de una o más piezas de trabajo. El circuito de procesamiento puede ser operable para generar, durante la soldadura de la una o más piezas de trabajo por el soplete de soldadura, señales eléctricas que se basen en las características físicas determinadas de la una o más piezas de trabajo, y que controlen uno o más parámetros de soldadura del dispositivo de soldadura automatizado durante la soldadura de la una o más piezas de trabajo.
