Abstract
Un transmisor para transmitir datos de carga útil e información de emergencia usando símbolos de datos en un sistema de difusión de una sola portadora o de portadoras múltiples comprende un modulador configurado para modular uno o más símbolos de transmisión con datos de señalización para usarse en la detección y recuperación de los datos de carga útil en un receptor y para modular uno o más símbolos de transmisión con los datos de carga útil. Un receptor de información de emergencia recibe información de emergencia que porta información de una emergencia real. Un incrustador de información de emergencia incrusta información de emergencia en uno o más símbolos de transmisión, en donde la información de emergencia es incrustada dentro de un período de tiempo predeterminado después de su recepción al usar un recurso usado para portar datos de señalización y/o datos de carga útil si no se transmitirá información de emergencia. Una unidad de transmisión transmite los símbolos de transmisión.
