Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a composiciones alimenticias tipo barra que comprenden trozos de análogo de carne y salsa, la salsa comprende un espesante seleccionado del grupo que consiste en una goma presente en la salsa en una cantidad de aproximadamente 0.5 a alrededor de 3.0% de la salsa en peso, un almidón presente en la salsa en una cantidad de alrededor de 2.0 a aproximadamente 9.0% de la salsa en peso, y combinaciones de los mismos. La composición alimenticia tiene un contenido de humedad de aproximadamente 60% a alrededor de 74% de la composición en peso y tiene una estructura tipo barra.
