Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un termostato (10) para aparatos de cocción que funcionan con gas, el termostato (10) comprende un cuerpo (20) dentro del cual se encuentra formado un conducto de entrada (23) y un conducto de salida (24), adecuado para recibir un flujo de gas de una fuente de suministro y para suministrar ese flujo de gas a un quemador de gas, respectivamente, así como una cámara (25) con una forma sustancialmente cilíndrica arreglada en comunicación fluida con el conducto de entrada (23). La cámara (25) también está arreglada en comunicación fluida con el conducto de salida (24) ya sea directamente, a través de una abertura principal (70) formada en un extremo de la misma, o indirectamente, a través de un conducto secundario (71) que se forma en el cuerpo (20) del termostato (10) y fluye hacia el conducto de salida (24) pasando la abertura principal (70), estando la abertura principal y el conducto secundario (70,71) dimensionados respectivamente para una velocidad de flujo de gas máxima y una mínima. El termostato (10) comprende además una válvula de una pieza (80) para ajustar la velocidad de flujo de gas, siendo la válvula colocada coaxialmente en la cámara (25) y guiada por sus paredes periféricas. Gracias a esas características, la configuración estructural del cuerpo del termostato y sus conductos es mucho más compacta y barata que la configuración estructural de los termostatos conocidos en la técnica.
