Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un aparato y método para producir una imagen de un ojo de un paciente, que incluyen una cabeza óptica que incluye componentes ópticos de proyección de imagen, componentes ópticos de fuente de iluminación y un alojamiento de cámara con un perímetro que aloja los componentes ópticos de cámara de vídeo y los componentes ópticos de la fuente de iluminación, un montaje de lámpara de hendidura mentonera y palanca de control que incluye un soporte ajustable de cabeza, una base movible, una palanca de control que ajuste una posición del alojamiento de cámara con respecto al soporte de cabeza y el soporte de alojamiento que monta la cámara de vídeo, un cubreojos tipo copa de goma que proporcione una interfase entre el alojamiento de la cámara y el ojo del paciente que resalta hacia afuera desde el perímetro y un sistema de computadora que analiza imágenes y datos por la presencia del amiloide en una retina, y otro depósitos y proporciona un diagnóstico de degeneración macular, de enfermedad de Alzheimer, de lesión traumática del cerebro, desórdenes de múltiples traumatismos, desórdenes neurodegenerativos y otros desórdenes oculares.
