Abstract

La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para producir propano-1, 2- diolopticamente puro, que comprende las siguientes etapas de procedimiento: a. Hidrogenación de lactidas, en donde se lleva a cabo una catálisis heterogénea catalizada por metales en presencia de hidrogeno produciéndose un producto bruto que contiene propano-1,2-diol, y b. Resolución racémica cinetica dinámica, en que se produce propano-1,2-diol ópticamente puro dentro de un intervalo de >_ 99% de e.e.
