Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método y dispositivo para rastrear el movimiento de animales u objetos marinos en cuerpos grandes de agua y a través de distancias significativas. El método y el dispositivo pueden rastrear un transmisor acústico fijado a un animal u objeto debajo de la superficie del océano empleando una buque de superficie teledirigido equipado con una red de hidrófonos y un receptor de GPS.
