Abstract
La invención proporciona una nueva forma cristalina de Rifapentina, su caracterización y el proceso de obtención de la misma. El proceso de obtención de la nueva forma cristalina comprende las etapas de adicionar una mezclar Dimetilformamida, tert-Butilamina y paraformaldehído a Rifamicina S en presencia de Ácido Acético glacial; agregar paraformaldehído y calentar; posteriormente agregar 1-Amino-4-ciclopentil piperazina en Dimetilformamida; agregar Ácido ascórbico en Agua y mezclar, filtrar y lavar el producto. El rendimiento de Rifapentina cruda es de 87+ 5% con una pureza del 99.00%.
