Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una célula huésped de Bacillus que pertenece a la especie Bacillus licheniformis o Bacillus pumilus en la que se inactivó el gen alr cromosómico. Dicha célula huésped bacteriana comprende un plásmido que comprende al menos una secuencia de replicación autónoma, un primer polinucleótido que codifica al menos un polipéptido de interés, en donde dicho primer polinucleótido está unido operativamente a un promotor, y un segundo polinucleótido que codifica una alanina racemasa que no es nativa de la célula huésped, en donde dicho segundo polinucleótido está unido operativamente a un promotor. La presente invención se refiere además a un método para producir al menos un polipéptido de interés basado en el cultivo de la célula huésped bacteriana de la presente invención.
