Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de elastómero curable que comprende un polímero reticulable y un relleno seleccionado del carbonato de calcio reaccionado superficialmente, hidromagnesita precipitada o una mezcla de los mismos, en donde el carbonato de calcio reaccionado superficialmente es un producto de reacción de carbonato de calcio molido natural o carbonato de calcio precipitado con dióxido de carbono y uno o más donantes de iones H3O+, en donde el dióxido de carbono se forma in situ mediante el tratamiento de los donantes de iones H3O+ y/o se suministra desde una fuente externa. Además, la presente invención se refiere a un producto de elastómero curado formado a partir de la composición, un artículo que comprende el producto de elastómero curado, un método para producir un producto de elastómero curado y el uso del relleno para reforzar un producto de elastómero curado.
