Abstract
Se dan a conocer composiciones para conservación de ácido nucleico, y métodos de elaboración y uso de las mismas, particularmente para la detección del virus de COVID-19. Las composiciones incluyen un portador, un agente caotrópico, un agente regulador, un agente quelante, un surfactante, un alcohol, un ácido, y un agente mucolítico. Las composiciones, como soluciones acuosas, pueden incluir agua como portador. Las modalidades preferidas incluyen agua, tiocianato de guanidina, Tris, EDTA, SLS, SDA 3C, HCl y N-acetil-L-cisteína. Algunas modalidades incluyen un tinte de color como indicador visual. Los equipos incluyen la composición dispuesta en una porción de un aparato para recolección de muestras biológicas. Los métodos de producción incluyen combinar los componentes en una mezcla, tal como una solución acuosa.
