Abstract

Se divulga una composición farmacéutica para el tratamiento de infecciones bacterianas de la piel, quemaduras y heridas. Comprende un ingrediente activo, preferentemente Mupiroina, un biopolímero, preferentemente Quitosano, con un peso molecular que oscila entre 250.000 Da y 600.000 Da, y un grado de desacetilación no inferior al 80%, Colágeno hidrolizado, preferentemente de tipo I, con un peso molecular que oscila entre 3 kDa y 6 kDa, y una base de pomada que comprende agentes emulsionantes, glicoles y solubilizantes. La invención tiene una estabilidad mejorada que las pomadas existentes, cura la piel y reepiteliza más rápidamente que los tratamientos existentes, reduciendo así el periodo de hospitalización.
