Abstract
Mediante la presente invención se da solución a las dos grandes problemáticas que existen hoy en día, por una parte, valorizando las fibras textiles extraídas del reciclaje y procesamiento de los NFU, y, por otra parte, proveer a la industria de la pavimentación asfáltica, una alternativa de mezcla con un desempeño superior a las actuales mezclas convencionales. Más específicamente la invención divulga un aditivo granulado en base a fibras textiles y caucho en polvo proveniente de neumáticos fuera de uso, que comprende: (a) fibra textil 20 a 30% compuesta principalmente por fibras de poliamidas o poliéster, que en su conjunto son del orden del 10% en peso de un NFU (b) ligante asfáltico de 20 a 50% (c) caucho en polvo proveniente de neumáticos fuera de uso entre 25 a 45% en una fracción inferior a 0.5 mm y (d) caucho en polvo proveniente de neumáticos fuera de uso entre 3 a 10% en una fracción inferior a 0.18 mm. Además, se divulga procedimiento de obtención y su uso en mezclas asfálticas.
