Abstract

La invención se refiere a copolímeros de acrilato-olefina y a un método para preparar estos polímeros. La presente invención también está dirigida a composiciones lubricantes que comprenden estos copolímeros y al uso de estos copolímeros como aditivo lubricante o fluido base sintético en una composición de aceite lubricante, preferiblemente en una composición de aceite para engranajes, una composición de aceite de transmisión, una composición de aceite hidráulico, una composición de aceite de motor, una composición de aceite marino, una composición de aceite lubricante industrial o en grasa.
