Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para fabricar un concentrado enriquecido en contenido de mineral de hierro a partir de un mineral, que contiene un mineral de hierro y silicato, mediante flotación inversa, en donde el método comprende la etapa de (c) agregar un compuesto de la Fórmula I (ver Fórmula) en donde R1 es C9-C22 alquilo o alquenilo, que es lineal o ramificado, R2 es H, C1-C4 alquilo, que es lineal o ramificado, R3 es -X-NH2, H o C1-C4 alquilo, que es lineal o ramificado, y X es C2-C4 alquileno, que es lineal o ramificado, o una sal de un compuesto protonado de la Fórmula I y un anión, a una pulpa acuosa preparada del mineral y opcionalmente uno o más auxiliares de flotación para obtener una mezcla acuosa. Además, se divulga un método para fabricar un grupo específico de compuestos de la Fórmula I, es decir, compuestos de la Fórmula I-X (ver Fórmula), en donde R1 es C9-C15 alquilo, que es lineal o ramificado, R2 es H, R3 es -X-NH2 y X es C2-C4 alquileno, que es lineal o ramificado.
