Abstract
Se describe un mecanismo de codificación de video. El mecanismo incluye recibir un flujo de bits que comprende una o más subimágenes particionadas a partir de una imagen y un indicador de nivel de subimagen que indica los requisitos de recursos para decodificar una subimagen actual. El flujo de bits se analiza para obtener el indicador de nivel de subimagen y la subimagen actual. Se asignan recursos para decodificar la subimagen actual con base en el indicador de nivel de subimagen. La subimagen actual se decodifica para crear una secuencia de vídeo empleando los recursos asignados. La secuencia de video se reenvía para su visualización.
